An Angel's Home's Just Not a Home Without Plants

If there’s one thing that should be present both inside and outside any home, it would be plants. It helps beautify a home and creates a special ambiance, and without them I would feel like the house was empty. I can't truly consider myself a green-thumb individual, but my certainly mom is. She loves plants so much and even collects a certain variety of cacti and flowers. She always sees to it that the plants outside and inside are well watered and in good condition every single day. I do check them myself whenever I get the chance and I took care of them when mom was away on vacation.

Among the kind of plants that never fails to fascinate me is the bonsai. I find them not just beautiful but the fact that they are grown for years yet remain tiny is simply amazing. I was browsing the net earlier and I came across this site with these beautiful plants. I got hooked browsing the pictures and fascinated at the same time. They’re beautiful, aren’t they? Mom hasn’t seen it yet but she’ll be fascinated like me for sure once she sees the site.

I really need to take some gardening lessons from mom. When my BA and I finally tie the knot one of my first chores will be to get some flowers planted. He has a nice home, but the one thing that's missing is plants. He always tells me that when we're together he feels as if he's in paradise. But no paradise is complete without flowers and plants to make it truly a heavenly place.

I Am A Chef Now!

On Facebook's Cafe World, that is! But it took me a while to get interested in it because I was busy farming. LOL. It was my son Yogi who actually introduced me to it. He played it using my account and when he showed me the restaurants of my friends and my niece's friends and saw their beautifully decorated cafes, that's the only time that I got the urge to play too. And here's my cafe now..."Lynndee's Diner" - a fancy restaurant that offers different cuisines yet at a very affordable price. Hee hee.

I purchased a vintage television couple of days ago and today, I purchased a fish bowl. Yipppeee! I know a lot of individuals are now addicted to Facebook games. I can't blame them for I am addicted myself. See you at my diner! (",)

With a Good Accountant, Count Your Blessings as Well as Your Money

Having a business means having to deal with money issues and other related items on a day-to-day basis, and it can be difficult at times, not at all a piece of cake. I've concluded that since we deal with those issues in our construction business, an accountant is a must-have. But choosing an accountant should be given a great deal of thought since not all can be trusted, for some people will take advantage of you when it comes to matters involving money.

I believe that there are accounting firms that have the goal of providing great service in spite of what they’ll earn and are genuinely concerned with their clients’ needs. One firm who’s known for those qualities is the Las Vegas accounting firm, Kondler, Chavez & Koch CPAs. Some of their clients even feel like they’re part of the family because of the service that they receive. How I wish all people in the business world were like that. In this age we live in where people can be dishonest and cruel, those kinds of individuals are the ones we need.

I Wonder if a Bath Robe Will Fit in a Stocking?

I awoke earlier to the sound of Christmas carols being played on the morning show on television. It cannot be denied, Christmas is definitely just around the corner and I can’t wait for that since it’s my favorite time of the year. Though it is still a little early, my family has already drawn names here at home for our gift exchange on Christmas Eve – a ritual which my family has been doing for years. Everybody can hardly wait.

I picked my sister Eve and my son Yogi picked my mom. Shhhhh… this will be our little secret, okay? They shouldn’t know that we picked them or the element of surprise will be gone. I’m glad Yogi and I picked them up because I already have an idea of what to give them – a terry bath robe for mom and waffle bath robe for my sis. I know they’ll both like that because they’re really pretty, not to mention they’re made of soft and comfortable fabric.

I wonder who picked me. Hope he or she is not having a hard time thinking of what to give me. I should have just mentioned that I’d love a bath wrap from posylane.com. Maybe they‘ll read my mind, or better yet just read my post here… (“,)

New Moon The Movie

The much awaited movie by many including me and my son, Yogi. I saw the trailer on YouTube a few months ago but it was only the other day that I first saw its trailer on T.V. and watching it made me excited the more to watch the entire film. It will open on the 20th of this month and my son and I will surely never miss it for the world. I already promised him actually that we're going to watch it.

I was able to read the book and I figured, some of the scenes were different as that in the book while I was watching the trailer. Nevertheless, I know it'll still be as exciting and thrilling like Twilight and undoubtedly, another blockbuster hit at that.

See you at the movies!
