Filipinos were already used to celebrate Valentine's Day every year. For some, it is just a celebration for lovers, for some it is a time for a family get-together or a time to hang out with friends, but for some it is just another day of the year, nothing special. I've always celebrated this day with my family. And i am referring to my parents, simblings, nieces, nephews plus my son and when my hubby was still around. Even during those "dating" days, family first before anybody else. And today is no different, it would still be the same thing that i was accustomed to.
Restaurants as expected would be jampacked with men, women, boys and girls trying to make this day a special one. Seldom you will find an individual alone in the corner or somewhere. I would sometimes giggle watching lovers whispering - sweet nothings perhaps. Hehe. Just kidding. I don't eavesdrop or something. It just remind me of those good old days...gone were the days. Well, we never know...it will come again. Time will tell. And this time around, i won't be the one giggling, but the one whispering. (",)
