I've been seeing a lot of pumpkins in the blogosphere for days now, and i had fun looking at those pumpkins in different sizes. We don't have pumpkins of that kind here so i think i just have to imagine myself in that scenario where pumpkins abound. Lol. Well, i can have my own pumpkin if i like. Just like this picture here. See? I've got pumpkins too. They were supposed to be scary since it's Halloween but for a change, i searched for a funny one instead. Every one of us is familiar with Autism, I believe so. You’ve probably read it in books, magazines, newspapers, etc., seen it on TV or heard over somewhere. I’ve learned about Autism from that stuff. Though I can say I am not totally knowledgeable about it but I do know certain facts about Autism. I’ve seen families being featured on TV who happens to have an autistic child. Having one is not at all easy since the family will go through trials and difficulties emotionally or in some other aspects, and unfortunately, some of them are not totally aware of the needs and treatments that they should know.

That is why an Autism Support Network was built and organized to help those families by guiding them, giving them proper education about Autism and supporting them in whatever challenges they are going through. Every family will also have the chance to interact with other families who are going through the same ordeal, and perhaps learn from each other by sharing their stories. I guess every family has a unique story to tell.

I am really so glad to know that there are individuals whose main goal is to really help people who are in need such as the Autism Support Network. Kudos to you!

That's what Yogi received yesterday. He was among the top ten who was awarded such in their school's United Nations celebration. I wasn't really expecting it. There were about 50 of them in their so-called parade of nations and each and everyone were at their best. I was talking to a friend when his name was called and i really got tensed up. I didn't even hear it at first until the woman behind me told me. I had to go up to the stage to pin his sash which made me nervous the more. But i was able to regain my composure eventually. (",)

So soon, huh! It's only been three weeks yet it's nowhere to be seen. Well, what can i say? It's how things happen here. I'm a little disappointed but that's just it. I kind of got used to it already since it has always been like that. That thing just come and go. But i'm still thankful because i got to enjoy it while it's still with me -- grabbing every opp there is 'cause i know for sure that it won't be there for long and i was right. I am definitely not a techie and I still have a lot to learn about computers, gadgets, software, online backup service, and the like. But I can say I’ve learned quite enough. Being in front of the computer most of the time kind of taught me a few things since almost everything, if not all is already right in the internet. I was really amused the first time i saw this one. I was busy with my usual daily routine when this happened but i was wondering how come Yogi wasn't troubling me nor didn't budge at all that day. Then i found out about this. I was totally clueless until he told me. This happened about three weeks ago and it's still in our bedroom 'til now and i actually have no plans of removing it. That will be Yogi's corner from then on. Most of those were his drawings, some were by his niece and some by his granny. But he colored all of it which is what he loves doing most of the time. See those yellow stars? He got those from school for behaving nicely -- as what he claimed. Lol. Yogi is showing his creativity this early. Mana kay Mommy. Hehe.

This started yesterday. I was suffering from headache the whole day. Since it's still tolerable, so i didn't take any medicine. I've always been like that, as long as i can still take the pain, no meds just yet. Today, i feel different. I don't have the headache anymore but i'm experiencing lightheadedness. You know, the feeling that you're like floating and all. Maybe i was just not used to sleeping late. I slept late the other night because i waited for folks until about midnight, and i wasn't able to have my afternoon nap yesterday -- to at least get the hours of sleep that i missed. I really hope that's just it and there's no serious thing behind this. I'll try my best to have a nap later and we'll see if my condition improves.

Yogi has been messing up with the pc lately. He changes the wallpaper almost every minute of the day and it kind of gives me a headache seeing different images from time to time. This happened yesterday and i was my niece's chosen godmother. The church was packed with students, godparents and parents. I wasn't expecting that much people to be honest 'cause my niece told me that there's only a few of them. But i eventually learned that she was only referring to her classmates. Bishop Gutierrez officiated the ceremony -- my first time to have seen him in the flesh. Everything went well and organized.

My sister and BIL arrived somewhere around the middle of the mass because they still have some work that needs to get done. We had snack at Jollibee after and as usual, i had my favorite Jollibee Frost and Palabok. It feels so good to have a cool snack especially that the weather now is super dooper hot!

Being a mother, seeing or hearing news regarding child abuse, child molesting, child trafficking, etc. worries me. It would be heartbreaking for a mother if their child will be in any of those situations I’ve mentioned. Child abuse or child trafficking can happen to any child. Visit to the dentist, that is, and it happened on Monday. He was afraid to see the dentist so i had to bribe him just for him to comply. I'm glad he obliged with only a pint of ice cream as bribe. What concerned me the most was his central incisor. I was expecting the dentist to extract it but she said it's not right to do so because Yogi is only five. She gave me the reasons why and i was enlightened. Yogi underwent tooth filling instead of his three molars and never complained throughout the process. I was kind of anxious 'cause he might change his mind or worse, will walk out from the clinic. I'm just so glad he didn't.

We went to the mall after to fulfill my promise. I keep my promises so i bought him a pint of ice cream. But it's not just that. I knew he'd ask for a toy because that's what it has always been whenever we're in the mall. He did ask but it didn't cost me anything. We saw my close friend -- his godmother who offered to pay for the toys. Such a lucky day for Yogi since he didn't only get a toy but toys! Thanks to my dear friend. I considered it my lucky day too since i was saved from paying the toys. Lol.

Four years ago, being in a hospital two to three times a week was part of my weekly routine. That was my routine for two consecutive years. But I wasn’t working in there nor was I a patient. My hubby was and that hospital routine stopped two years ago. Do I need to say more? I think you already know why.

Anyways, during those two years of hospitalization, I never saw my hubby wore a hospital gown. I’ve never seen any patient in that hospital actually wearing a hospital gown except for those women who are due to give birth or already had given birth. I remember when I gave birth to my son, they gave me this hospital gown that is kind of worn out. They said that it is the only gown left because several women gave birth during that time. I was not going to wear it if the nurses didn’t explain to me the whole thing. They apologized too and hearing that is more than enough for me to have finally decided to wear that hospital gown.

Speaking of hospital gowns, I didn’t know they go with the latest trend or fashion too nowadays until I stumbled upon HealingThreads.com. Missed me? Lol. I was never away. I get to peep at times but that's all i was able to do because my internet connection wasn't cooperating with me. As you know, i blogged about my connection previously for being so slow and for experiencing intermittent connection since Friday and it has been like that since then. All the while i thought my internet provider was the culprit but when i reported the problem to them and had my connection checked by their tech, the problem is with my LAN after all. I was planning to have a LAN card installed today but to my surprise, i got a connection this afternoon and it started around 1 o'clock without problems until now. Call that a miracle! Hehe. So i grabbed the chance and here i am. Hope this will continue until forever. Lol.

At present, I don’t need eyeglasses because I still have a 20/20 vision. I’ve never worn eyeglasses ever since actually. But I know time will come that I will need them. That is already given because as we age, our vision also deteriorates. Both my parents wear eyeglasses though. The deadline for submission of the opp that i took is just a few hours away and yet my internet connection is either so slow or disconnected in every few minutes. Grrr! I called our telephone company's hotline number to inquire if there is some technical problem of some sort. I was told that there's none but how come my connection is always disconnected. I'm irritated, kind of pissed but that was a while ago...before i've sucessfully submitted my post. I was worried then that i might not meet the deadline. But since i was able to submit it, so i'm okay now. I think i just have to turn off the pc now so my day won't be totally ruined.

Have you experienced receiving a call from an unknown phone number or better yet, harassed by telemarketers, prank callers or all the other annoying callers there is? I’ll bet you have. No one was spared from those callers, I think. Receiving a call from an unknown phone number kind of irritates me at times since I get to wonder whose number is it for the rest of the day. I do return the call whenever I get the chance but to my dismay, the owner of that number would either hang up or won’t answer the call at all. Simply annoying, isn’t it?

Listening to music is already a part of my day to day existence. A day is not complete without me listening to any song that i like. And this morning, while i was talking to my HB and dropping ec at the same time, Josh Groban's music is also playing on the pc. I was actually thinking of playing it again now but thought otherwise 'cause i might fall asleep. Hehe. His songs are really awesome, so pleasant to the ears. There are even times that my mind is wandering (no particular thoughts there though. i'm just staring blankly at times actually) while listening to his songs. Oh well, i think it's time for me to hit my bed. As usual, work has left me exhausted again. I just want to get things done here before anything else. But since i'm done so got to go. Nighty night peeps!
